HTC’s new flagship smartphone, the HTC Sensation, is now available in the UK at Vodafone.
The operator is offering the Android-powered dual-core handset for free on a two-year £35 per month contract. The deal includes 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of inclusive data per month.
The HTC Sensation, officially launched by the Taiwanese manufacturer last month, boasts a 4.3-inch qHD display with 540x960 resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor and an eight-megapixel rear-mounted camera with dual-LED flash and a second, lower-specced VGA camera up front to allow for video calls.
It also includes the usual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability, an HDMI port and comes with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and boasts an upgraded version of HTC’s Sense UI that features an array of interactive lockscreens, 3D widgets and HTC Watch, the new movie and TV rental service.
