Apple WWDC to kick off on Monday 6 June

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will kick off on 6 June in San Francisco.

The three-day event, which has brought the announcement of new iPhone products in the past, is guaranteed to get the industry buzzing.

Despite claims that iPhone launch date has been pushed back to September 2011, industry insiders have speculated that this year’s WWDC will provide a backdrop for the unveiling of the next generation iPhone.

Meanwhile, it is relatively certain that Apple CEO Steve Jobs will reveal the future of Mac OS X Lion and iOS 5.
