Sony Ericsson today ( 9 June) unveiled its latest handsets, the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman and the Sony Ericsson Txt Pro, via its Facebook page.
The manufacturer revealed its music-oriented and text-focused phones following a worldwide competition to find four fans to review its handsets.
The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman phone boasts a 3.2 megapixel camera, TrackID music recognition and a Zappin key to make it easier for users to search for songs.
Meanwhile, the Sony Ericsson Txt Pro, which has been designed for speedy messaging, comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well as social networking integration.
Sony Ericsson global product marketing manager Quentin Cordier said: ‘We wanted to take advantage of our extensive Facebook fan base when announcing these phones, bringing the fans closer to both our products and brand.
'We are really pleased that consumers liked them for their music and social media functionality and expect them to become great additions to our overall portfolio of entertaining phones.’
The new handsets are expected to go on sale globally from Q3 of 2011.
