HTC launched its latest handset today in the shape of the HTC EVO 3D. The device will be available in Europe in July.
The 3D phone requires no glasses and comes with the latest version of HTC Sense and HTC Watch, the company’s video and film streaming service. The EVO is designed to make it easy to capture and share 3D home movies and stills.
‘Smartphones have revolutionised how people communicate and entertain themselves on the move. You can now carry your favourite films, music, photos and games in your pocket wherever you go,’ said Florian Seiche, president of HTC EMEA.
‘The HTC EVO 3D allows people to explore this new technology trend beyond the living room, enabling them to capture and share their lives with family and friends in amazing 3D.’
The HTC EVO 3D comes with dual five-megapixel cameras for capturing and playing back HD (720p) video and features a 4.3-inch qHD screen coupled with stereo surround sound. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which not only supports 3D but also delivers a fast and responsive browsing experience.
