O2 has more than doubled its contract value with lingerie retailer La Senza after signing a new two-year contract.
The operator today (27 June) announced that it plans to reduce La Senza’s fixed line costs by 27% by joining up both its fixed line and mobile services.
O2 will add to the mobile contract it already has with the La Sanza and now also provide the retailer's fixed lines across its business. O2 will also provide services to assess the efficiency of lines, remove duplication and reduce wastage.
O2's general manager for enterprise David Plumb said: ‘Consolidating suppliers is one of the most economical ways of ensuring that businesses operate as efficiently as possible. La Senza’s decision to join up both its fixed and mobile suppliers by expanding its relationship with O2 strengthens our position as a trusted partner and strategic advisor for our business customers. We look forward to working with them to drive efficiencies and help them improve their business operations.’
The move is part of La Senza’s long-term strategy to combine its supplier base, particularly in ICT, in a bid to drive down the company’s operational expenses.
La Senza UK & Ireland infrastructure manager Paul Erskine said: ‘O2 has been providing La Senza with our mobile communication solution for four years. When it announced that it was providing fixed lines, it was an easy decision to move our fixed line estate to O2 as well.
‘The account management team is committed and not only do they ensure that our mobile and fixed lines needs are met, they constantly strive to see if they can help in other areas of the business. As an added bonus to this we are able to show a 27% reduction on fixed line costs, which is great for the business.’
