Data Select has clinched a UK distribution exclusive for the new Nokia X7, the second device to come pre-installed with the new Symbian Anna operating system.
The device comes with a stainless steel outer casing, a toughened glass screen, two large speakers and a four-inch AMOLED display.
It also includes push email, a three times faster web browser than previous Symbian devices and free satellite navigation.
The new Symbian Anna operating system comes with significant improvements, including faster web browsing, a new portrait QWERTY, a richer Maps service including more landmarks in 3D, and cross-app integration.
Jason Kemp, marketing director at Data Select said: 'We’re absolutely committed to Nokia and the opportunity to bring the X7 exclusively to our customers was an opportunity not to be missed. It’s an outstanding piece of hardware and the Anna OS really enriches the user experience.'
The Nokia X7 is available to buy from Data Select on 7 July, but dealers can pre-order via their Data Select account managers from today (28 June), according to the distributor.
