Nokia launches C5-00 MP5

Nokia yesterday (28 June) unveiled an updated version of its successful C5 handset, the C5-00 MP5.

The C5-00 MP5 bears a close resemblance to its predecessor as the measurements and operating system have remained the same. However, the upgrade has benefited from double RAM and a higher resolution camera.

The Symbian-powered C5-00 MP5 features a media player, FM radio, 3.5mm audio socket and social networking integration.

It also boasts Flash Lite 3.0 for smoother web browsing and comes preloaded with apps such as YouTube and Ovi Maps 3.0.

The C5-00 MP5 is expected to go on sale in Q3 of 2011.
