Everything Everywhere appoints Horrobin in transformation role

Everything Everywhere has appointed former Tesco COO Mark Horrobin as director of transformation as it looks to fully integrate Orange and T-Mobile.

Horrobin, who is apparently working on a consultancy basis, is officially in place to galvanise and co-ordinate the joint venture’s four pillar transformation programme throughout the business. He will report to Everything Everywhere’s chief of staff Stephen Harris.

Horrobin was previously COO at Tesco Telecoms, where he worked from 2009 to June this year. Prior to that he was at Carphone Warehouse. He has also worked for internet giant AOL and Onetel.
 
At the beginning of this year, Everything Everywhere unveiled four key areas of transformation as it looks to turn the business from two companies into one new company delivering a new strategy.

The four areas were: ‘Our People’, an HR-led incentive to ‘be the best’ and have a high- performance culture; ‘Our Customers’, to have value growth and be a ‘retention champion’; ‘Our Company’, business simplicity and cost leadership; and ‘Our Future’, which is about data and how the operator will transform to become a data-centric organisation.
