Everything Everywhere’s growth will come from existing customers, says new CEO

Everything Everywhere’s future growth will come from its existing customers, the operator’s incoming CEO Olaf Swantee told Mobile in an interview today (18 July).

He said: ‘Our growth will come from existing customers. Of course, we have to have a balance of acquisition and retention but growth will come from our current base.’

Swantee hit back at critics of Everything Everywhere’s strategy, emphasising record levels of churn reported by the operator.

He said: ‘Looking at our targets of business synergy savings of 25% by 2015, Everything Everywhere has achieved its objectives.

‘Before Tom [Alexander] came on board, churn levels were very high and I continue with the strategy to bring churn down and customer loyalty up.’

Swantee will take over from current Everything Everywhere CEO Tom Alexander on 1 September.
