Orange has cut a deal with Apple to offer customers the chance to rent films online for free.
Orange’s newly launched Film To Go offer will allow users to download one film a week at no cost to watch on a PC, laptop or Apple device.
As with existing rentals over iTunes, it will be available for 30 days.
The deal complements the operator’s Orange Wednesdays offer, where customers can receive two cinema tickets for the price of one each week.
It extends Orange’s links with the film industry, which date from its sponsorship of the Baftas from 1996.
For the first month Orange customers will be offered Mickey Rourke's The Wrestler, The Ghost starring Ewan McGregor, and Che: Part One.
Spencer McHugh, brand director at Orange UK, said the incentive rewards customers for their loyalty.
He added: 'The launch of Orange Film To Go means we can offer customers an amazing film every week as a big thank you for being with us. The offer will complement Orange Wednesdays, the UK’s leading film offer, by offering our customers the flexibility to enjoy film whenever, and however they want to.’
