Daisy Group has hired Andrew Wilson in the role of head of indirect sales as part of its rapid expansion.
The former IT security sales director joins Daisy with 10 years experience in the IT and communications market.
The company believes that Wilson’s expertise in security, data and communications channels has ‘given him a rounded view of how to successfully deliver multifaceted channel models’.
Wilson said: ‘Having met several members of the senior management team, I am extremely impressed by the strategic direction of the business. I have a number of plans regarding the growth of indirect.
‘So far I have discovered a culture of unity and good old fashioned hard work. There is a friendly environment where head office is simply that; one office environment which breaks down the email culture so prevalent in large plc businesses.’
In his new role at Daisy Group, Wilson will be automating and growing the current indirect model. He will also be involved in the streamlining processes, the creation and launching of a partner portal, as well as the introduction of new product sets to different channel verticals.
Daisy Retail sales director Karen Ullah said: ‘Ensuring the satisfaction of our business partners and customers is key to the success of the business and already Andrew’s input is making a vital difference.
‘The changes he has, and will continue to put in place, will ensure that Daisy Group can continue to deliver on its promise to our valued partners, and our end-user customers.’
Wilson added: ’The aim is to show significant growth on what is a very strong foundation. From a customer and partner perspective, one of my key priorities will be to maintain and further improve our service excellence.’
