Warren Lewis has been appointed as LG UK’s head of mobile.
Lewis replaces Jim Michel, who left the company in July.
The news comes just weeks after Alex Windle, LG head of marketing, quit the business. Windle joined LG in September last year.
Observers say Lewis will provide continuity in a time of upheaval, which has seen key staff leave.
Lewis has four years experience at LG Electronics, previously heading up the company’s IT Solutions and AE business.
During Warren’s time leading LG’s IT Solutions, the business grew by 38%. LG said it is 'highly excited about welcoming his experience and fresh approach, along with Warren’s proven commitment and passion, to our mobile team.'
In a statement, the electronics firm added: 'The mobile market in the UK, and indeed globally, is a fast-paced and challenging environment and the full LG Mobile team is dedicated to ensuring LG remains at the forefront of this community. LG Mobile is committed to continuing to improve its services and offerings within the UK market and remaining one of the leading technology innovators.'
