Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2011 shortlists revealed

Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2011 shortlists revealed

Nearly 10,000 Mobile Choice readers have voted for their favourite mobile phones and products in the run up to the Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2011. Mobile’s sister magazine asked its readers to vote for their favourite handsets in various categories and has picked the top five or six highest scoring devices to make up the shortlists.

Mobile Choice editor Natasha Stokes said: ‘This is the first year we’ve opened up all product categories to reader voting and we’re incredibly excited – we’ve had such an immense response.’

The shortlists will be judged by the Mobile Choice in-house team, with the exception of Phone of the Year and Tablet of the Year, which will be judged by a panel of experts from around the mobile industry.

The winners will be announced on 6 October at the Mobile Choice Consumer Awards event in London and will be published online the next day. There are still some shortlists to come, but here are the contenders so far (see table above).
