Samsung today (15 September) announced the launch of its new UK Premium Samsung Apps Store for Android.
The Premium Samsung Apps Store for Android will enable Android customers to get access to, and purchase, a range of premium applications and games for their mobile devices without needing to sign up.
Consumers can get their hands on popular apps such as Zenonia, The Sims 3 HD, Need for Speed Shift HD and 9mm.
Meanwhile, the new service will also replace the existing credit card billing used by Samsung for its current apps download service.
The manufacturer hopes to add the purchased premium app to customer phone bills or allow customers to have it deducted it from a SIM card balance in the near future.
Samsung UK and Ireland Mobile MD Simon Stanford said: ‘Anyone that signs up to Samsung Apps Store for Android today, will find a multitude of free and premium apps already available.
‘In the spirit of providing Android users with the best possible mobile experience, it is our intention to continue to develop this premium service to ensure our customers have access to all the latest great content on Android.’
Consumers can access the premium apps from the Samsung Apps Store for Android website from today.
