The 11th annual Mobile Choice Consumer Awards have crowned the UK’s best networks and retailers, as voted for by 10,000 readers.
Mobile Choice’s largest reader survey ever saw high street giant Carphone Warehouse take the crown for Best High Street Retailer, while network Three took away a new award this year – Best In-Store Customer Experience.
'Carphone Warehouse scooped our readers’ votes for its excellent range of handsets and tariffs, as well as a store layout that made it easy for them to find what they needed,' said Natasha Stokes, editor of Mobile Choice. 'Meanwhile, readers rated Three for store décor, product demos and staff advice - creating great all round ambience for the customer.'
Vodafone took the coveted Best Network award – again, 100% reader voted based on the quality and reliability of its voice and internet coverage for all users. O2 won best Customer Care, the award that recognises a network’s aftercare and problem resolution.
'Vodafone is a fantastic choice for this year’s Best Network with its UK-wide voice and internet coverage,' said Natasha. 'We are equally pleased to announce O2 as the people’s choice for Best Customer Care in the UK.'
Best Online Retailer went to Buymobilephones.net for the third year running. 'Our readers voted in Buymobilephones.net for its easy to navigate homepage and range of phones and tariffs,' said Natasha.
