Everything Everywhere has unveiled a partnership with US machine-to-machine specialists Raco Wireless as part of the operator’s ongoing assault on the M2M market.
The move follows the recent launch of the Everything Everywhere M2M Platform and a similar partnership deal with Redtail Telematics to expand the operator’s M2M capabilities into vertical markets including health, education, logistics and transport.
Raco Wireless, which was a partner of T-Mobile USA, will work with the operator to create ‘a one-stop shop for connectivity solutions in the US, UK and European markets’. This will include multi-IMSI capability designed for cost-effective international M2M deployment from early next year.
Marc Overton, VP of wholesale and M2M at Everything Everywhere, has previously told Mobile that M2M is now a significant growth opportunity for Everything Everywhere.
Of today’s deal, he said: ‘By working in partnership we are able to provide businesses with a one-stop shop for international M2M capabilities.’
John Horn, president of Raco Wireless, added: ‘Our agreement with Everything Everywhere will provide our customers and partners with a solution for M2M connectivity that offers them the best roaming rates and the most advanced M2M management tools.’
Separately, Everything Everywhere has joined a Service Alliance with France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom, which it says will ‘guarantee’ its customers network access and high standards of service right across Europe.
