LG Prada phone to launch from next month

LG intends to roll out its new Prada phone across South Korea and western Europe from next month.

The Prada Phone by LG 3.0 was officially unveiled in London last night (14 December). The electronics manufacturer refused to discuss pricing for the UK market.

The device has 8GB of internal memory, a 4.3-inch NOVA screen and a 1GHz dual-core processor.

The Prada Phone by LG 3.0 also features a capacitive touch-screen and has a fake leatherette Saffiano pattern on the back. It also packs an eight-megapixel camera with flash.

LG said the device will run on Android's Gingerbread operating system at launch but will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich in the future.

The device is the third collaboration between Prada and LG.
