Samsung reveals Galaxy Advance S ahead of MWC

Samsung has unveiled its latest Galaxy smartphone, with the dual-core Galaxy S Advance coming to the United Kingdom later this year.

Pricing and an exact UK release date have yet to be confirmed. The device runs on a dual-core 1GHz processor and features a four-inch Super AMOLED screen, displaying pictures and videos that can be captured with its five-megapixel camera. The device runs on Android Gingerbread and features Find my Mobile, a lost-phone management system that allows users to track their lost phone via the web or even delete data remotely.

Samsung UK & Ireland telecommunications and networks division MD Simon Stanford said: 'Our aim is to build on the features we know our customers enjoy and add to the choice of smartphones we offer. Our Galaxy range has proven extremely popular and we have no doubt this latest sleek and powerful addition, with its curved design will be greeted the same response when it is released in the UK.'
