Vodafone and T-Mobile reveal plans as new iPad goes on sale
Vodafone and T-Mobile have revealed their pricing plans for the new iPad. However, customers who have not already got their hands on the device will have to wait, with both operators saying the tablets will take several weeks to deliver.
T-Mobile is offering the 16GB and 32GB devices on pay monthly deals. The 16GB device is available for £229 on a £25 per month contract spread over 24 months. Customers get 1GB of data as well as an extra 1GB to use between 12am and 10am. The 32GB device is available on the same data plan and monthly charge but with a £279 upfront fee (or £249 for current T-Mobile customers).
Vodafone is stocking all three new iPad models. The 16GB tablet is available on a 24 month contract for £27 per month with an £199 upfront fee. Customers get 2GB of data and 1GB of data through BT Openzone Wi-Fi. Alternatively, they can pay £499 upfront and get 2GB of data and 1GB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi for £15 for 30 days. Customers can pay the same upfront free but with only 500MB of data for £7.50. For the 32GB tablet, customers can pay £275 upfront and £27 per month across a 24 month contract. The data plan is the same for the 16GB tablet. Alternatively, they can pay £569 upfront and get 2GB of data for £15 for 30 days or 500MB for £7.50.
The 64GB model is available for £345 on a 24 month contract priced at £27 per month with the same data plan. Alternatively, customers can pay £645 upfront for 2GB of data and 1GB of BT Openzone for £15 for 30 days, or 500MB for £7.50 over the same period.
