20:20 Mobile has signed a strategic partnership deal with supply chain management company CEVA Logistics.
The distributor said the deal will result in better product availability and a more efficient supply chain and returns process. It added telecoms companis will be able to reduce working capital demands by carrying less handsets.
Both companies will provide a range of services including mobile device and accessory inventory management, retail store replenishment, order fulfillment, online sales solutions, recycling programs and product returns management.
Meinie Oldersma, CEO of 20:20 Mobile Group, said: 'We see this partnership as offering major benefits to our clients. An integrated supply chain serving our clients’ call centre, website, distribution center and retail outlets will improve service levels, reduce stock obsolescence and create higher profits. We know that mobile operators and others are alive to the benefits of a fully integrated value chain and will be receptive to the advantages that this partnership will offer.'
Both companies said the partnership will initially be focused on providing the extended service portfolio to countries across Europe.
