HTC launches two new handsets
Taiwanese manufacturer HTC is launching two new 3G handsets in the UK.
Set to hit the channel in late July, the MteoR and the TyTn will both be marketed on their quick and easy internet functionality over 3G.
The two handsets are HTC's first attempt to market products under its own name. It already supplies handsets to companies including 02 and Orange, who sell the devices under their own brands. HTC will only offer its two new models to distributors that don’t carry operator-branded HTC handsets.
Although HTC is yet to confirm which UK networks and retailers will be getting their hands on the phones, the MteoR will retail at £299 Sim-free and the TyTn at £549.
