BenQ Mia in September
BenQ-Siemens will launch the EF61 Mia, the follow-up to its popular CL75 Poppy, in September this year.
Like its predecessor, the phone features a flower design on its front and back covers but this time in blue rather than pink. The handset screen doubles up as a mirror and it ships in gift-bag style packaging with an included satin pouch.
The manufacturer says the phone was created by an all-female design team to ensure it goes down well with its intended target audience. It has also teamed with make-up brand Pout, meaning the phone will ship with a ‘five steps to fabulous’ make-up animation included.
The handset comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, expandable memory and a 64MB card included. It also features Bluetooth and a USB-cable for file transfers to and from a computer.
The Mia will carry a prepay price tag of around £99. Network availability is yet to be confirmed.
