Russia unveils world’s priciest phone
With a £698,000 price tag, Russian manufacturer JSC Ancort can boast it has made the world's most expensive mobile phone.
Designed by the so-called 'inventor of luxury phones', Austrian jeweller Peter Aloisson, the Diamond Crypto Smartphone is made from solid platinum and ebony and is encrusted with 50 half carat diamonds, including ten blue diamonds.
The navigation key is made from 18 carat rose gold and is decorated with 28 round cut diamonds.
The handset uses the Windows CE operating system and comes with a touch screen, MP3 player, email and space for 4000 phone numbers.
