Samsung i320 set for Europe
Samsung will launch its i320 smartphone in Europe this summer.
The slimline handset comes equipped with a QWERTY keyboard and uses the Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System. It also incorporates instant messaging software, push email support, a 1.3 mega pixel camera and dual speakers.
The i320 is Samsung's first smartphone model, designed to compete with the likes of RIM's Blackberry and Nokia's E-series. It has launched ahead of another likely competitor, the Motorola Q, which is rumoured to be arriving in the UK in the fourth quarter of this year.
The SGH-i320 will be available initially in France. Subsequent launches will take place throughout the rest of Europe and South East Asia during the summer.
