Samsung Galaxy Advance S to launch on 30 April

Samsung's Galaxy S Advance will go on sale in the UK from Monday (30 April), with Three offering the device for free from £23 per month.

The dual-core smartphone is the latest in Samsung's Galaxy portfolio and comes with a curved four-inch Super AMOLED screen. It runs on Android Gingerbread and packs a five-megapixel camera.

Simon Stanford, VP for the telecommunications and networks division at Samsung UK & Ireland, said: 'We’ve been pleased with the response we’ve had from customers, partners and media since announcing the Galaxy S Advance in January. As with many of our smartphones before it, the Galaxy S Advance features a screen which uses our Super AMOLED technology so anyone that buys one will experience unparalleled colour and vivid clarity when viewing any content on the device.'

Three will offer the device on pay-as-you-go for £269.99 or for free from £23 per month. Three head of handsets Sylvia Chind said: 'The curved touch-screen of the Samsung Galaxy S Advance really does bring rich media content to life.'
