Samsung updates P300
Samsung has unveiled a new and improved version of its P300 'credit card phone'.
The P310 boasts a 2-megapixel camera and a memory card slot, improving on the original's 1.3-megapixels and 80MB of internal memory. The design has also been overhauled to include scroll-wheel navigation, although the phone doesn't share the P300's controversial pocket calculator styling.
The P300 was a moderate success for Samsung, selling well to fashion-conscious users on the look-out for a compact and sombre-looking device.
The P310 is set to hit the shops before Christmas. Samsung is yet to reveal the handset's price but it is expected to cost about as much as its older brother, which has a Sim-free price tag of around £300.
