Samsung is launching a series of ‘pop-up’ events around London to promote the new Galaxy S III smartphone.
Samsung has named the pop-up locations Samsung Mobile PINs, in reference to pinpoints on a map.
The first Mobile PIN pop-up events will be held at the Westfield shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush and Old Spitalfields Market on 29 May. The Mobile PINs are glass structures which can be easily moved from one location to another.
During the summer, Samsung will launch two additional PINs in Hyde Park and the Olympic Park in Stratford.
The company said the experiential space will be used to give consumers a hands-on experience of its new flagship device.
Samsung senior VP Younghee Lee said: ‘We welcome everyone to this dynamic and energetic place to fully experience and enjoy all the core features of Samsung mobile products.’
Consumers visiting the Mobile PINs will have fully-trained staff members on hand to share product knowledge and provide demonstrations. Customers will be encouraged to try out the Galaxy S III and other Samsung devices, functions, services, and apps.
