Everything Everywhere reveals fresh investment to modernise stores

Everything Everywhere is investing £37m in refreshing and modernising its retail estate as part of its wider changes to its customer service programme.

Mobile revealed yesterday that the operator is spending £13m to change how its call centres operate. Staff have been trained in the four main operating systems and are able to answer device, technological or account specific queries without having to transfer customers to another agent.

The operator announced the additional investment in its retail portfolio this morning and said it complements the company's previous announcement that it will sell Orange and T-Mobile products across all of its stores. Orange stores started selling T-Mobile prepay dongles earlier thie year, while T-Mobile branches began offering Orange Broadband from this week.

A spokesperson said: 'Everything Everywhere is also significantly investing in its retail stores through refreshing and modernising its entire high street estate.'

The operator has more than 720 stores across the Orange, T-Mobile and Everything Everywhere brands in the UK.
