HTC warns on second quarter sales
HTC has downgraded its second quarter sales forecasts because of lower than predicted European sales and the delayed shipment and launch of new products in the US.
It said second quarter sales will now be NT$91bn (£1.97bn), down 13.33% from its previous prediction of NT$105bn (£2.27bn). Its gross profit margin will be 27%, in line with predictions.
The manufacturer also revealed its May sales were NT$30.0bn (£649.2m), down on April's sales of NT$31.03bn (£671.5bn). The company's sales between January and May were NT$128.8bn (£2.79bn).
