Samsung in tune with new Top 40 charts app
Samsung Galaxy device owners are now able to stream the Official Top 40 songs after the manufacturer signed a deal with mobile music company MusicQubed and the Official Charts Company.
A new Official Top 40 Charts app is available exclusively to all Galaxy owners for a two-month free trial period, with users able to download an 'Access All Areas' pass from just £1 per week after the trial. Galaxy owners can play the UK's bestselling songs on their handsets. The app downloads and caches songs overnight during off-peak periods and updates automatically. It is also available on the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Ace II.
Simon Stanford, VP of Samsung's UK & Ireland telecommunications and networks division [pictured], said: 'The Official Top 40 Chart app, powered by MusicQubed, is the latest exclusive content we’re bringing to our devices and we’re delighted to make it available to our customers. With access to all the latest chart hits instantly and exclusively free on Samsung devices, the Official Top 40 Chart app is a great content offering and is the latest example of Samsung’s drive to provide innovative technology to suit our customers’ lifestyles.'
