Chester dealer Pescado has signed its largest ever contract and opened a new office in the Midlands as part of an expansion drive.
The company has opened a new office at Millhouse Business Centre, Castle Donington in the East Midlands. It has appointed Craig Knight as sales manager for the Midlands area, as well as two further field sales consultants. The new hires take Pescado's team to almost 40.
The company, which was founded in 2006, recently signed its largest ever deal, a £300,000 contract to provide a gas maintenance and renewable energy firm with telecoms and IT support. Pescado's other clients include JP Morgan Asset Wealth, Lexmark Europe, Dickies Workwear and Yale.
The opening of a new office and recruitment drive is part of Pescdao's three year plan to increase turnover by £4m to £10m. At the end of 2011, it moved into a new head office in Park West, Chester, doubling the space it previously held in Ellsmere Port.
Pescado MD Fraser Watson said: 'We are finding that more and more customers like the fact that we can provide them with all of their business communication needs, vindicating our decision to launch a dedicated IT division just over 12 months ago.
'We now have offices in Chester, Basildon and Castle Donington, allowing us to react quickly to the needs of customers and potential customers across the UK.
'We believe we have a unique offering in being able to make a business’s technology work seamlessly from server right through to their mobile handsets.'
The company recently won Vodafone Gold Partner of the Year at the operator's Partner Awards ceremony. It has recently been made a Platinum Partner and also provides connections for O2 and T-Mobile.
