Sony Mobile gets touchy with new TV ad campaign

Sony Mobile is launching a new television ad campaign highlighting how consumers can share music or images between devices using its 'One Touch' technology.

The campaign will also run across print, digital, out of home and retail and goes live on 7 September. Using its 'Made of Imagination' tagline, the advert will show how music playing on an Xperia smartphone can be transferred to a speaker with a single touch. The second advert, which goes live in October, shows how consumers can capture and share images by touching phones together.

Last week, Sony Mobile announced a new range of its Xperia smartphones, with the forthcoming Xperia T and Xperia V featuring NFC technology. Sony Mobile chief marketing officer Steve Walker said: 'Xperia smartphones are at the heart of Sony’s wider strategy of delivering connected entertainment experiences and a common user experience across devices. Xperia smartphones open the door to a world of imagination and we have created a vibrant campaign to show the possibilities of one touch function, whether creating, sharing or listening to content.'
