Sony Mobile is launching its 'Bond Phone', the Xperia T, in an exclusive with O2 for special 007 content.
The handset is set to feature in the forthcoming James Bond movie, Skyfall, and comes with specially preloaded content such as a James Bond ringtone, themes, screensavers, behind the scenes videos and a geotagged video gallery showing the films' locations. It also comes with the 007 Legends game for the XBox 360, PS3 or PC for a limited time.
The device was unveiled at last month's IFA conference in Germany. It has a 4.6 inch screen, a 13MP fastcapture camera and runs Ice Cream Sandwich on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The handset will be able to be upgraded to Android Jelly Bean at a later date. The device will go on sale later this month although pricing has yet to be confirmed.
Catherine Cherry, UK and Ireland marketing director, said: 'We are very pleased to be partnering with 02 to help highlight this unity and provide an exclusive package, giving consumers the opportunity to experience the life of a secret agent with The Bond Phone.'
