Huawei is launching its 4G Ascend P1 LTE handset exclusively through EE.
The device is one of EE's 4G launch handsets and will go on sale when the operator launches its next generation offer in the coming weeks. The phone runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It has 1GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch Super Amoled screen and features an 8MP camera.
The availability of the handset was revealed at the Global Mobile Broadband Forum in Vancouver, Canada. The manufacturer also revealed it was strengthening its LTE product portfolio with new routes and modems.
Kevin Ho, president of the handset production line of Huawei Device, said: 'LTE is the future of mobile communications, and faster data networks will become a key area of differentiation for consumers when choosing their mobile devices. Huawei is committed to LTE innovation throughout the entire communications infrastructure from the ground to the cloud. The availability of the HUAWEI Ascend P1 LTE is just one more way in which we are putting great technology into the hands of more people globally.'
