With the HTC devices, the 8X is available on the Red plan for £33 per month, giving 1GB of data, unlimited calls and unlimited texts. The entry level 8S is on sale for £21 per month, giving consumers 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data.
Windows Phone 8 is the latest attempt by Microsoft to establish itself as the third mobile ecosystem. Operators have reported encouraging early sales although the OS is set to go head to head with Blackberry with its new BB10.
