HTC ships to Orange
Orange is to receive a new HTC-manufactured handset to add to its SPV range.
The SPV M3100, otherwise known as HTC's TyTN model, will be added to Orange's own-brand line up before the end of August. An Orange spokeswoman confirmed that it expects to receive deliveries in store and online within the next few weeks.
The handset is also on sale as the HTC TyTN and one of the first devices to be marketed under its own brand, although Orange's version will carry the tried and tested SPV nametag.
The M3100 is marketed as a pocket PC with 3G capability, a qwerty keyboard and push email on board. The handset also boasts Wi-fi, which is a boon for users looking for fast and cheap internet access on the go.
The handset's 2 megapixel lens is a controversial addition to a businessphone, most of which ship without cameras. Even so, it ensures the M3100 boasts better specs than rival handsets such as the Blackberry line-up and the new Nokia E61.
