Lifestyle Services Group (LSG), the insurance arm for Phones 4u group, has clinched a deal with Nationwide Building Society to provide mobile insurance to the bank’s new FlexPlus Account. The deal will be offered to the society’s five million UK current account customers as well as new customers.
LSG’s contract sees it provide mobile phone insurance, a payment card cancellation service, and an identity fraud helpline as part of the packaged account.
The company said mobile phone insurance plays a major role in attracting customers to packaged accounts. LSG’s service will give FlexPlus Account customers access to critical services 24 hours a day through LSG’s centres of excellence, based in Hersham and Crewe.
