MVNO Ovivo appoints three non-exec directors

MVNO Ovivo Mobile has appointed three non-executive directors as it nears completion of its £150,000 call for investment.

James Longley, co-founder of Moonpig owner Photobox, Martin Smith, co-founder of ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, and digital entrepreneur Tony Fish will each provide advice and guidance to Ovivo CEO Dariush Zand (pictured) and chairman David Jones.

On 17 March, the MVNO will close its £150,000 investment round through the crowdfunding platform Zand said: 'I am flattered that James, Martin and Tony have agreed to put their time and reputation behind OVIVO. It speaks volumes for our prospects and I don’t believe that we could have chosen a better team.'

Ovivo launched in April 2012 and gives customers free usage in return for advertising, e-commerce and value added services.
