Carphone slashes costs of phones and tablets on Super Value offer
Carphone Warehouse has launched an aggressive low cost offer, selling smartphones on contracts from £7.50 per month.
The Super Value offer went on sale today (10 April) and offers features phones, smartphones and tablets. Devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Ace and HTC Desire C are on a £7.50 per month contract, with no upfront cost. The Samsung E1200 feature phone costs from £2.95 on prepay and the Samsung E2121 VGA camera phone is available for £7.95 upfront on pay as you go. The lowest cost tablet is the Versus TouchTab 7, which costs £69.
Graham Stapleton, chief commercial officer at Carphone Warehouse, said: 'Our Smart Value range does exactly what it says on the box. A value for money led range of phones and tablets, for customers who don’t need a phone with a HD video camera, music or apps. Launching the first Super Value range of phones and tablets is an exciting move for Carphone Warehouse. Many of our customers want the very latest technology but there are also plenty of customers that just want a good quality handset or tablet device that doesn’t break the bank.'
