Selfridges grabs BlackBerry Q10 exclusive
BlackBerry has signed an exclusive deal with Selfridges to stock its Qwerty keyboard touting Q10 device this weekend.
The device will be available exclusively from Friday (26 April) and will be priced £579.99. The handset can be bought from Selfridges, as well as its website. The launch means it will come to stores across operators and independent retailers several days after the Samsung Galaxy S 4 launches on 26 April.
The handset has been seen as the likelier to catch on among consumers, as it features BlackBerry's classic physical keyboard. It is the second device to feature BlackBerry's next generation BB10 operating system and also features a touchscreen.
The BB10 devices are at the centre of BlackBerry's fightback to rebuild its market share, after years of decline. At the end of March, it said that it had shipped one million BB10 devices between their launch at the end of January and 2 March.
