Fonehouse CEO Simon Douglas and commercial director Mark Noonan have left the business, less than six months after taking on their respective roles.
Douglas (pictured), who was former head of Virgin Megastores and Zavvi Entertainment Group, joined Fonehouse in November 2012 whilst Noonan, who had held senior roles at both HMV and Virgin, came on board in January this year.
Group chairman Clive Bayley will resume the role of CEO, along with his current duties, whilst Fonehouse B2B director Russ Wheeler has been promoted to group sales director. Mike Moss, who also joined Fonehouse in January, remains as retail director.
Bayley said: ‘Simon and Mark came in to reorganize the management side of the business and they have done that and are now moving on to other tasks.
'Mike Moss remains as retail director and Russ Wheeler comes in as group sales director and I will pick up some of the responsibilities acting as chairman and CEO.’
Douglas and Noonan were unavailable for comment.
