Carphone launches 'cheapest ever' iPhone 4 tariff
Carphone Warehouse has launched the UK's lowest ever iPhone 4 offer, selling the Apple handset at just over 50p per day.
The £17 per month tariff is available on O2 and Three on the 8GB handset. The O2 contract lasts two years and offers 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. The Three deal has the same duration but offers 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data. Consumers will be able to sign up to the new contract from tomorrow (10 May). The retailer said the deal was in response to greater demand for smartphones at a lower cost.
Graham Stapleton, chief operations officer at Carphone Warehouse, said: 'Launching the cheapest iPhone tariff is an exciting move for Carphone Warehouse. Many of our customers want the opportunity to own the iconic Apple handset, but at a tariff that works for them. Even though smartphones are mainstream, there are still thousands of customers who are upgrading from a feature phone to a smartphone, and this deal is perfect for them.'
