EE to host 4G hackathon
EE is hosting UK's first 4G hackathon in London next month to encourage the development of apps that make the most of superfast 4G networking speeds
The competition will run for two days from 22 June at the Hub Westminster in London.
Developers can compete in three categories. These are real-time collaboration with 4G for the business sector, real-time collaboration with 4G for the public sector, and augmented reality for business.
The competition is open to student and professional developers. All entrants will be given a free mobile Wi Fi device to keep and winners will be given a 12 month mobile broadband contract with a free Mobile WiFi device and 50GB of inclusive UK data per month.
Announcing the event EE said: ‘With 4G now mobilizing British business and opening up countless opportunities for real-time collaboration, EE is inviting both professional and student developers to pioneer the next generation of mobile apps for business that push the boundaries of what's possible on 4G.’
