Sony reveals entry level Xperia M
Sony has revealed a new entry level smartphone set for launch by September, the Xperia M.
The handset has a 1GHz dual-core processor, a four inch FWVGA screen, a five megapixel camera and runs Android Jelly Bean. The device will be available in single and dual-sim models. It shares the same 'Omnibalance' design as the high-end Xperia Z. The handset will be available in the third quarter of this year and is available in black, purple, white and yellow. The Xperia M shares the same one-touch media features as other Xperia devices, allowing users to access photos and music across an range of devices.
Calum MacDougall, director of Xperia marketing at Sony Mobile, said: 'Consumers looking for their first steps into the world of Xperia smartphones, would be well-advised to look at Xperia M or Xperia Mdual. Both models benefit from Sony’s proven innovation and engineering expertise, and are perfect for those who want the premium technology and experiences often only associated with high-end models.'
