O2 adds top-ups to its Wallet
Consumers will be able to top up their pre-pay accounts through O2's Wallet, after the network launched a new top-up service.
The service is open to anyone who has the Wallet app downloaded and works across all networks. A sum of between £10 and £50 can be topped up through the app. Earlier this year, O2 launched a Train Travel service to its wallet, allowing consumers to check train times and buy tickets.
James Le Brocq, managing director of O2 Money, said: 'Our future lies in becoming a trusted provider of brilliant digital experiences. Last year we started that journey with the launch of O2 Wallet which gave us the platform to start to build value added services.
'Our customers’ needs are changing so we need to ensure we’re offering more digital solutions to make their lives easier, for example how they top up a Pay & Go mobile. This new top-up service as part of the O2 Wallet app offers a quick and easy way to add credit to an account with minimal fuss, giving you more time to spend doing the things you love.'
