TalkTalk is selling selected Huawei handsets from £1.25 per month, as part of a new value promotion.
The MVNO is offering customers the entry level Ascend Y210 for £1.25 per month for six months, then £5 per month for the remaining 18 months on its small plan, which gives 100 minutes, 250 texts and 1ooMB of data. The Ascend G510, which has a 4.5 inch screen and 1.2GHz dual-core processor, costs £2.50 per month for half a year, then £10 per month for the remainder of the two year contract. If a customer signs up to the medium plan, they get 300 minutes, 3,000 texts and 500MB of data for £3.75 per month for the first quarter of the contract. Those who sign up online get 1.5GB of data per month. Alternatively, customers can get the Ascend G330 for the same price as the G510.
The offers will run until 5 August and are only available to TalkTalk customers. Dan Meader, mobile director at TalkTalk, said: 'It’s amazing that TalkTalk customers can now enjoy all the benefits of a smartphone, like being able to check emails and look up maps on the go, for less than it costs to catch a bus in most parts of Britain. This is another example of TalkTalk and Huawei working together to bring lower prices and better value to British customers.'
