Vodafone Group has announced an organisational restructure intended to speed up growth in unified comms and accelerate consumer and enterprise plans.
It has brought together its European businesses into one continental organisation. Philipp Humm, regional CEO of northern and central Europe, has been appointed regional CEO Europe when the merger completes on 1 October. Turkey will be allocated within the Africa, Middle-East and Asia-Pacific region because of its emerging market characteristics.
Paolo Bertoluzzi, regional CEO for southern Europe, will take charge of an expanded group commercial function that will span brand, consumer, unified comms, terminals, customer operations, partner markets, as well as the recently-formed group enterprise organisation. He will be appointed group chief commercial and operations officer from 1 October.
Vodafone Group chief executive Vittorio Colao said: ‘These organisational changes will allow us to improve the customer experience and develop our commercial strategy more quickly and consistently. I congratulate Paolo and Philipp on their new roles.’
