Vodafone to compensate 4G customers hit by HTC One Sky Sports glitch

Vodafone is compensating customers experiencing issues with Sky Sports Mobile and the HTC One.

Customers have been offered a £5 bill credit by Vodafone as means of compensation, although the problem is still ongoing. Mobile revealed last week that the certain HTC One devices loaded with the 4.2.2 version of Android could not successfully load the Sky Sports app. The operator’s customer forum has logged a number of complaints since 13 August, a day after the packages became available.

A Vodafone spokesman told Mobile last week that he expected the problem to be rectified when the ‘app has been updated in the next few days’.
