LG to reveal new tablet at IFA
LG is set to debut its G Pad 8.3 tablet at this week's IFA, the latest addition to its high end range of products.
The manufacturer has described the product as the first tablet of its size to run full HD, with a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA (Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array) display. The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core processor. The tablet weighs 338g and features LG's Slide Aside and QSlide multitasking features. Slide Aside allows users to change app by swiping it to one side using three fingers. QSlide allows consumers to control up to three apps in one window at the same time.
Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of the LG Electronics mobile communications company, said: 'Complementing our G Series smartphones, the introduction of the LG G Pad 8.3 further strengthens LG’s premium lineup consisting of our most cutting-edge devices. Our G Pad is just another example of LG delivering devices with the unique selling points consumers around the world will appreciate.'
