Huawei’s Ascend P6 has won the accolade of European Consumer Smartphone 2013-2014 at the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) awards in Berlin, Germany.
The Huawei Ascend P6, was launched in June this year. The EISA said the Ascend P6 is a ‘surprisingly well-equipped smartphone at a very attractive price.’
Colin Giles, executive vice president at Huawei’s consumer business group said: ‘We are delighted to receive this prestigious accolade from EISA. This award represents firm recognition from the industry of Huawei’s ability to create products that meet and exceed the high standards of consumers in Europe.’
He added: ‘At Huawei, we are committed to providing best-in-class devices that excite people around the world and, with the Huawei Ascend P6, we have done just that.’
The Ascend P6 is just 6.2mm thick and comes with a 4.7-inch screen, a 1.5GHz quad core processor, 2GB of RAM and a 2000mAh battery.
The Huawei Ascend P6 is available in more than 60 countries including the UK. It retails in the UK at around £340.
